At Merri Creek Primary we have talented and enthusiastic specialists. These include:

•  LOTE - Italian (each class recieves 1 hour a week)

•  Visual Art (each class recieves 1 hour a week)

•  Music (each class recieves 1 hour a week)

•  Maths Task is an invaluable resourse of problem solving tasks where students work in pairs to solve. A Maths Aide who maintains the centre comes to Merri Creek every Wednesday to support classes.

•  Class teachers share the role of teaching Physical Education and Library.

We have an after hours music program that operates on a user pays basis. This includes piano, recorder, guitar, flute, violin and African drumming. We also offer Junior Choir (Grades Prep,1, 2 & 3) and Senior Choir (Grades 4, 5 & 6) and an adult choir.
