The
school was built in 1891 as a single storey brick building with a picket fence
and named State School 3110, Brunswick East. It was remodelled in 1926 with
the addition of a second storey.

In
1979 the single storey modern wing was added to the west of the building. This
incorporated a toilet block, library, art/craft room, courtyard, general purpose
room and administration area.
The slate roof on the brick building was largely replaced in 2000, along with
the re-asphalting of a large section of the playground.
In 1999 internal facilities were dramatically improved with design changes to
the Library and adjoining classroom, creation of an office for the Out of Hours
School Care Coordinator, more sports equipment storage and replacement of classroom
carpets.
