Teachers use a range of assessment techniques and tasks to enable them to inform their teaching and to accurately report to parents and carers about their child. Written reports are provided in June and December and

parent teacher interviews arranged in June and October. Parents and carers are welcome to speak to teachers about issues of interest and concern without hesitation, at a mutually convenient time.

Statewide testing – the AIM (Assessment Improvement Monitor) of Years 3 and 5 students occurs in August and Benchmark testing of the reading of Years Prep,1 and 2 students is undertaken in December.
